The hungry Meerca is back - in the new improved Meerca Chase II!!! Race around the screen collecting Neggs of all different colours, from the lowly Happy Negg (yellow) to the super-rare Fish Negg. Avoid the Red Neggs at all cost - run in to one of these and it's game over.
Meerca Chase II is the revamped version of the original Meerca Chase. Like the old game, use the arrow keys to control the Meerca. Move around the room collecting all the neggs while avoiding the red neggs. Each negg collected adds to the train of neggs following behind the Meerca, growing longer and longer. Be careful not to double back and run into this tail or the game will be over. Running into the wall will also end the game.
The first screen you see has two columns, with three options each.
![]() Below these column is a small excerpt about each object.
![]() This is a very useful tool as it shows you which choice would be best for newer players or for more experienced ones.
There are three obvious difficulties in this game. In the Easy level, your Meerca moves at a slow pace. This means, if you collect a Yellow Negg, you will gain 3 points. This is a good place to start and obtain a feel for the game and the navigation.
In the Medium level, you Meerca moves faster than in the Easy level. In the Hard level, your pet moves much faster. If hard seems a bit too hard, practice on Meerca Chase 1, which can be found in the game graveyard.
Classic Mode is just like Meerca Chase 1. To see Meerca Chase One, you can visit it by clicking HERE.
![]() Maze mode is slightly harder, for you have to go through a maze. It's not recommended for beginner players due to its constant map shifting which requires quick reflexes. ![]() Freestyle is the last mode that is visible. It doesn't have the constrictions that classic mode has and since you can move in any direction it seems harder. When this is played on easy, it makes it slightly easier due to the very few obstacles in your way. Be warned that this one is done by angles and not strict North, South, West and East directions. ![]() The first secret mode found was the Super Fast Bowl Gravity Mode. In order to enter this secret level, you will need to type superextrahypergravitymode at the main menu of Meerca Chase II. In this secret mode of Meerca Chase II, the values of the yellow neggs are 18, which is significantly higher than the original! Just by getting 10 of these yellow neggs you will have a score of 180 points!
![]() To unlock the Ferocious Negg mode, type ferociousneggsareontheloose on the opening screen. In Ferocious Negg mode, the evil neggs actually move on screen and try to bump into you, much like the mines of Dubloon Disaster. This is an extremely challenging mode and the points make up for it. When trying for the avatar, this is probably the fastest way to earn it.
![]() Tips to Win
A score of 1750 and above is generally the average to gain the trophy. A score of 1250+ gets you the avatar. Extra: Credit: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
