A fun, colourful and exciting carnival used to move around Neopia, thrilling its residents with their amazing shows... until THEY came...
Moving to the Haunted Woods may not have been the best idea.

Dr. Sloth has created Robot Chia Clowns in an attempt to once again destroy Neopia. They are the only enemy in this game, the one that MUST be destroyed at all costs. In the process of destroying them, it is a good idea to pick up a few of the bonuses, which will give more time, ammunition, and health. Use the mouse to move the crosshair around the screen. When the crosshair is placed over an item, clown, or bonus, shoot by using the left mouse button. Each item that can be shot is worth a different value. Keep in mind that points are not displayed on the Game Screen.

IMAGE ITEM  POINTS
EFFECT
Clown's Legs 1 The Clown is killed.
   Clown's Skeleton
1 The Clown is killed.
  Clown's Head 2 No effect.
Umbrella 3 The Clown is killed if they are falling fast enough.
Clown's Arm 4 The Clown may explode or will just be killed.
  Roller Coaster 5 No effect.
  Pie
5 Hit it and no health is lost.

The crosshair is used for aiming. The center of the crosshair is where the shot will be fired, so be sure to line that up with whatever you want to hit. In the bottom righthand corner of the game screen, there are three essential parts of the game. They are time, health, and ammo. If any of these three essentials run out at any point in the game, the game is over. There are a few bonus items that will help increase the time spent playing Carnival of Terror and getting that high score.

The clowns are the only enemies.. There are five places that a clown can be hit: its head, arms, legs, and body. The easiest way to kill a Clown is shooting it in its middle section. Though the easiest, this is not the most beneficial way to kill a clown. When going for a lot of points, it would be best to go for the body parts that are worth more, such as the arms. However, if the clown's arms and legs are shot out, it may explode. An exploding health will cause health to be lost, so be careful!

Be sure to watch out for pies. Since the game is very fast paced, pies are rather hard to notice until after they have already exploded. Remember, pies are worth 5 points and if missed will explode and cost one health point. Because of this it is better to shoot a pie first before shooting anything else on the game screen. The only exception to this is if time is about to run out; In this case, simply shoot whatever is worth the most points and disregard the pie. Remember, sometimes it is better to shoot the pie and gain five points by using only one ammo than to go for the ammo bonus and lose a health.

In the situation in the picture shown above, it would be better to go after the time. Any time that can be gained will be of benifit later on in the game. If low on life, be sure to click on the health bonus boxes. If the health meter is full, nothing will be gained by shooting it, so do not shoot it, because it will waste ammo. Once this game has been played a few times, it is obvious that this is a repetitive game. Keep playing the game and grab ammo, health, and time whenever possible, and there is no telling how far you'll be able to get. Good luck!

Tips to Win
  • Grab any ammo, health or time bonus even if they are only needed a little. They will always be of benefit later in the game.
  • Remember to shoot the first car of the roller coaster whenever it passes as it is worth five points.
  • Form a plan. Don’t be completely random in killing. Try to make as many shots as possible to the clown, so as to receive the maximum amount of points.
  • Custard can be typed once per game for extra time.
