Part One - The Sleeper

PLOT SOLUTION

Return to Entry Page

We are aware that there are other clubs in Altador. However, you can not join them even if you have not
joined the Astronomy Club. The ONLY club you can actually join at this time is the Astronomy Club.

After having completed the first part of the plot, up to and including joining the Astronomy Club, the second part of the plot commences.

1. The Altadorian Tomb is now open. Make it your first stop.

2. Upon arrival at the tomb, you are faced with a large set of doors with strange markings. Click on those marks.

How strange. There seems to be some kind of pattern in the stonework on the front of the tomb doors. What could it mean?

3. After the door has turned dark and highlighted the symbols, return to the Altadorian Archives and talk to the Archivist.

The archivist says, "A pattern of two lines, on the front of that old tomb? How intriguing. I wonder what it could refer to? Perhaps there is a matching pair of lines somewhere to be found."

4. Return once more to the Hall of Heroes and the Tower to look through your telescope. You need to find the constellation in your sky. To chart your sky, go to this page and select all and copy. Then go here and paste in your coordinates. Click Submit. This will chart your sky accurately.  Please notice that your sky is most probably different than when you may have previously charted it. It is not necessary to chart your sky to find the constellation, but it may help.

5. Click on the three stars on each side of the constellation. DO NOT join them in the middle. Connect the outside stars by clickng the red button on the handle and choosing Connect Stars.

6. Once again return to the Archivist. He will now say: "Extraordinary! You've identified a constellation based on the..." He looks around suspiciously, and speaks low. "On the Darkest Faerie? Her eyes, in fact? This... how strange." He stops for a second, staring blankly. "You know, I'm having the oddest feeling, like this is familiar. There's something on the tip of my brain, some piece of information... what is it?" He shakes his head. "I just can't figure it out. Well, perhaps there are other constellations to be found."

The archivist shuffles over to the Book of Ages and flips it open. "Something else has happened, however, and it might be connected to your discovery of the constellation. A few more pages of the book have magically filled themselves in! It tells a story about the Darkest Faerie herself... from before. Before she turned evil, and betrayed us."

About the Ads

7. Open the book on the podium and read the story.

8. On your way out of the Archives, be sure to stop by the Astronomy Club and tell the other members of your adventures.

"Wow! You discovered a new constellation! That's really awesome, so soon after joining!" They cheer and celebrate, assuring you that you're destined to be one of the greatest astronomers in Altador, if not all Neopia.

9. Now it is time to trot back over to the Hall of Heroes and visit the statue of the Dark Faerie. Click on the topmost edge of her image to see the ceiling again. You will now see her constellation in it's full glory.

10. If you would like to make one more stop on your journey, pay another visit to the Janitor.

The janitor shouts at you, "HEY! Stop leaving the lights on in the observatory! It's wasteful! I CAN'T STAND WASTEFULNESS!! RAAARGHH!!"
